General

General
SP Mount is an app for Mac, iPhone and iPad that shows the folders of your own servers over SFTP. It doesn't collect data, has no accounts and uses no third-party services.
- It only talks to the servers you set up, over SSH/SFTP. It doesn't connect to SuperPartner or anyone else, and sends no statistics or crash reports. Nothing goes through any server of ours.
- Your servers, passwords and keys are stored only on your device, encrypted by the system. If you import a key from a file, the app doesn't touch that file: it's yours, and you should delete it if it isn't protected.
- Your files on the server are never deleted when you remove the app or its data.
- Purchases are charged by Apple through your Apple Account and can be restored in Settings > Restore purchases; we don't receive your payment details.
Mac, iPhone and iPad
What the app stores, and where
- Your list of servers (name, address, port, user, folder, server fingerprint), your passwords and the keys you import are stored only in your device's system keychain. They're never written to files and never leave it.
- Files you open are copied to your device so you can view them; files you save are uploaded to your server.
Permissions
- Notifications, only to let you know when a file changed both on the server and on your device and your version was saved as a dated copy. On iPhone and iPad the app asks once, the first time it opens; on the Mac, macOS asks the first time it happens. If you say no, the copy is still made, just without an alert.
- On the Mac, the folder you pick in "Also show in", if you use that option: the app places a shortcut to your server there and touches nothing else on your Mac.
- On the Mac, starting at login, only if you say yes when the app asks.
How to delete everything
In the app's Settings, "Remove all servers and data" removes the servers from the Finder or Files, deletes the passwords and keys from the keychain and the app's data on your device.
