SP Mount
- Abre SP Mount y pulsa "Añadir servidor".

SP Mount
Your servers in the Finder and in Files, over SFTP. Files show up without downloading, download when you open them and upload when you save.
Getting started on the Mac
- Open SP Mount from the menu bar and choose "Add server…".
- Enter the address, user and password, or import your key, and press "Test". The first time, the app shows you the server's fingerprint so you can accept it. Once it says "Connection OK.", press "Mount".
- macOS asks for permission to show the server in the Finder: press "Give permission" and turn SP Mount on. When you come back, the server appears under "Locations".
Getting started on iPhone and iPad
- Open SP Mount and tap "Add server".
- Enter the address, user and password, or import your key, and tap "Test". Accept the server's fingerprint the first time and, once it says "Connection OK.", tap "Mount".
- On iPhone, the server shows up in Files, under Browse, in "Locations". On iPad the location starts off: in Files, tap Browse, the three-dots button, "Edit", turn SP Mount on and tap Done. The app reminds you with the "Open Files" button.
Your key
- OpenSSH Ed25519 and RSA private keys are supported, with or without a passphrase. If it has one, type it before importing.
- You can import it from a file or paste it from the clipboard. Either way it is saved in the system keychain, never in the app or in any file of the app.
- If you imported it from a file, that file is still where it was and it is a copy of your private key: delete it if it isn't protected. Pasting avoids leaving that file around.
Good to know
- Time Machine backs up the files you've already downloaded, not the ones that are only on the server.
- Spotlight indexes file names, but doesn't download files to search inside them.
- The Finder's "Recents" doesn't show files from mounted locations.
- If the same file changed on the server and on your device, your version is saved as a copy with the date in its name and the app lets you know; nothing is lost.
- Symbolic links on the server aren't shown or followed. If you save a file with the same name as one of those links, it isn't uploaded: it stays on your device marked with an error. Deleting a folder also deletes the links inside it, but never what they point to.
- This version mounts one server.
Uninstalling
Before deleting the app, choose "Remove all servers and data" in Settings. On the Mac, if you delete the app without that step, empty folders are left in ~/Library/CloudStorage; remove them from System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions → File Providers, or delete them by hand. On iPhone and iPad, do that same step before deleting the app: it is what removes the passwords and keys from the keychain.
